After several months of rumors about a console or a television service connected competitor Chromecast of Google,Amazon should finally reveal itsnew prdut Wednesday, April 2.

In August 2013 the first rumors of a console designed by Amazon on Android, with an equivalent model to the Ouya or Gamestick circulating. Mid-March, it was a picture of a joystick stamped Amazon that had appeared on the site of Anatel, the Brazilian equivalent of the ARCEP. A few days later, it was the turn of TechCrunch report the Amazon Fireproject, a key competitor HDMI Chromecast that would stream from your smartphone or the tablet, hosted online content.

Finally, the answer should arrive next Wednesday. In an invitation sent to the American press, Amazon says provide an “update on [his] model of video.” The conference will be presented by Peter Larsen, head of the Amazon Kindledivision, indicating that it will be so much new material and not a simple add-on service.

Amazon is already working on Android hardware, through the Kindle Fire tablet. In addition, the U.S. giant has recently purchased the Double Helix studio, which developed the new versionof Killer Instinct free-to-play for the new Microsoft Xbox One. Finally, in terms of videos, films and series, Amazon acquired in 2008 service video on demand subscription LoveFilm, Netflix competitor, which could be integrated with the Amazon Fire presented next week.
