Apple has just lost a battle in the case that pitted him against Kodak. The Cupertino company will not bring him legal action.

After being placed under the protection of Chapter 11 of U.S. bankruptcy law, Kodak filed a complaint against Apple by explaining hold intellectual property rights on several technologies for previewing images on multimedia devices. For its part, Apple retorted have developed a series of cameras in the 1990s in partnership with Kodak and it would have the opportunity to steal technology. Apple has in turn requested permission to file a complaint against the photography specialist.
According to a Reuters report, Judge Allan Gropper of the New York court, however, forbids Apple to pursue this initiative. He wants the case to be fastened as soon as possible in a way that would not jeopardize the tax adjustment Kodak nor society projects on commercialization of its patents. These should be sold in June for $ 950 million.
Kodak currently markets licenses to several manufacturers including LG, Motorola, Samsung and Nokia.
